Salah

What it does

Salah helps parents and children keep the five daily prayers together: accurate times for your city, a sticker chart that makes children proud of every prayer, and gentle reminders. It is made for iPhone, iPad and the Mac menu bar; one purchase covers them all.

For children

• A sticker chart for each child. Tap a star for every prayer, watch the week fill up and keep a streak going.
• A big, friendly child view. Each prayer is a colourful card with its time of day (Dawn, Midday, Afternoon, Sunset, Night) and a star to tick, with a small celebration when all five are done.

For parents

• Accurate times, worked out on your device. Twelve thousand cities, each in its own time zone, so the times stay right when you look at another country or when the clocks change. No internet needed.
• 13 calculation methods, from the Muslim World League and Umm al-Qura to Diyanet, JAKIM and ISNA, with the usual one for your country chosen for you. Shafi'i or Hanafi Asr, and a few minutes either way for each prayer to match your mosque.
• Gentle reminders at each prayer or a few minutes before, with soft synthesized sounds.
• The Islamic (Hijri) date, adjustable by a day or two for local moon sighting.
• Far north and south. High-latitude rules for the short summer nights, and an honest message on days with no sunrise or sunset instead of invented times.

Qibla and Tasbeeh

• A Qibla compass with the bearing and distance to the Kaaba.
• A Tasbeeh counter in rounds of 33, 99 or 100, with a gentle tap on every count.
• On the Mac, the next prayer sits in the menu bar, one click from the day's times.

Prayer times, Qibla, Tasbeeh, reminders and one child's chart are free. Salah Pro is a single purchase, shared with your family through Family Sharing: charts for every child, the whole history and best streaks, the Home Screen widget, more reminder sounds and the countdown in the Mac menu bar. No subscription. Requires iOS 17, iPadOS 17 or macOS 14 or later.

Privacy in one paragraph

Salah never connects to the internet. There is no account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics, and no data is collected. Your location is used only when you ask for it, once, to find the nearest city, and it stays on your device. The full privacy policy says the same at more length.
